Grigg Mullen and Al Anderson have been leaders at many Guild raisings and participated in unusual and challenging lifts over the years. From Aug. 9-13 they will be at the Heartwood School (www.heartwoodschool.com) to lead a workshop on knots, rigging gin poles, shear legs, tripods and cranes, calculating CoG, rigging hardware and slings, reeving block & tackle, and other skills needed to be the complete timber framer.
