Directors at Large
A 25-year member of the TFG, I serve on the board of directors overseeing communications and website development. I served as an F-15 pilot in the Air Force and then worked for Silicon Valley companies for 15 years. In 2006, I founded Energy Environmental Corporation (EEC) as a veteran-owned small business. My expertise lies in the integration of high performance systems for low-energy buildings where I have several utility patents pending. EEC’s design/build projects have won numerous regional and national awards and have been featured in national publications.
I am a member of the American Society of Heating and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); an associate member of the American Institute of Architects; a certified GeoExchange Designer and a certified Energy Manager in the Association of Energy Engineers. I have earned the LEED for Homes Accredited Professional designation from the U.S. Green Building Council. I was a voting member on the technical committee for the development of the 2015 Uniform Solar Energy & Hydronics Code by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).
I hold a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a master’s degree in business administration from Golden Gate University in California, and dual master’s degrees in architecture and landscape architecture with certificates in Design/Build and Historic Preservation from the University of Colorado at Denver.
