Day 15 Report
A full and very hot day. Kevin and his team worked on the deck with such intensity that they went through all of the materials, both nails and planks. Fresh supplies are promised for tomorrow.
Rigging and raising plans are beginning to take shape in the back room.
The apprentices had a full day of taking the twist out of the posts, as both an aid to assembly, and an opportunity to tighten up some of the joinery.
Chris Gunn triple-checked the rafter math and started on cutting patterns, which, of course, developed great controversy amongst the carpenters. If we could cut wood with words, we'd be done by now! It's been good to have the extra assist from Sunday's arrivals.
The flywheel is coming up to speed at last.
