The outdoor classroom is behind the main school building. Here are some of the 1st and 2nd graders walking to the job site through the meadow.
The foundation for the site is set in the forest just on the edge of the meadow. Here are two community members from the mill checking out some area to be leveled. A nice cement slab for the floor. Ahh- NO MUD!
Ethan and Bryan visit during lunch with the timberframers, who ate at the school so the children could meet and talk with them. ![]()
Left: Cindy and Nancy showing Presco and Allison how the machine works. Right: Niquie and Bryan ask questions that a timberframer answers. They are learning the names of the tools and how all the pieces will fit together. | ||||||||||
