More timber frame volunteers arrive through this week, from Montana, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and all over New England. The setting is calm and pastoral, and the pace seems sure and steady. As cutting and drilling continues at various stations around the gardens, under the tent, and in the sheep barn, two stalwart portable sawmillers -- Jim Clarke and Tyler Higgenbotham -- continue the milling. ![]() ![]() Left: Kendra Clarke and her twin brothers, Jamie and Jay, are building a fort or monument to our cutting progress.
