Workshop Report: Group Shot

Group shot

Sunset on Friday: Nearly the whole crew posed proudly in front of the second gate. There was much site clean up left to do, with a celebration to follow.

We did it! We got to this point without any site work under the lights (although some work did go on in the shop). We had an excellent night-school program, and I think it is safe to say that every participant came away with increased understanding of and confidence in this remarkably refined joinery system.

This week-long event more than met the Four Criteria for any Guild event: (1) high-quality work, (2) accomplished with terrific people, (3) set in a great place, and (4) done for good purpose.

Thank You

Thanks to all, timberframers, volunteers, and sponsors alike who helped to make this event flow smoothly and successfully.
