Workshop Report: Part 9

We elected, as a safety and convenience measure, to build the pavilion roof on the ground. This gave us better access by more people, with the added benefit of allowing teams to work on the roof and the columns simultaneously. The next series of photos shows the fit up of the roof assembly.

David Blackwell (far right, VA) offers advice, as Wayne Kapitaniuk (BC), James Wiester (CA) and Armistead Coleman (WA) work on the diagonals of the base assembly.

We assembled the ridge wall upside down, and rolled it in to position on redwood planks borrowed from the path builders.
