2018 TFG Conference - East


The Timber Framers Guild presents the 2018 TFG Conference -EAST at the iconic Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach, VA.  We are returning to Virginia for the first time since  2012 and we are thrilled to be back.  The conference committee is hard at work developing a dynamic program.  

The Timber Framers Guild Conference is North America's largest event dedicated to the practice of building historically–inspired new construction using environmentally responsible techniques and large timbers for framing, connected with traditional joinery. Drawing several hundred professionals from a variety of disciplines, the TFG Conference is the only arena where architects, engineers, artisans, contractors, designers, building owners, and preservationists gather to learn about the resources, skills, and knowledge necessary to build timber framed buildings.

We are now accepting presentation proposals for  the 2018  Eastern Conferences. Proposal form is available HERE. The Guild is committed to developing high-quality learning activities in accordance with national criteria for continuing education credits in a variety of professions, including Learning Units through the American Institute of Architects.

TFEC Presents - Engineering Boot Camp - $375 for TFG Members, $450 for non-members, includes lunch

TFG Companies Presents: MBA in a Day - Succesful or Painful Ways to Start or Grow Your Business -  $175 or FREE for TFG Company Members,$225 for non-members, includes lunch 

ATP Presents: Complex Roof Layout Workshop -  $175 for TFG Members, $225 for non-members, includes lunch

Hotel Rooms are not included with your registration.

Event Cancellation Policy: If there are special circumstances, such as an emergency health situation, then we will issue a full refund or apply it toward a future TFG conference or event, whichever is the preferred method. If you need to cancel, and it is more than a month before the event, you'll receive a 75% refund; if it is between two and four weeks, you'll receive 50%; and if it is less than two weeks prior to the summit, no refunds will be issued.
