Synecdoche, Principal & Co-Founder
Lisa co-founded Synecdoche in 2009 with Adam Smith. She is a licensed architect in the State of Michigan and an assistant professor of practice at the University of Michigan Taubman College. She holds degrees for Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Conservation from Taubman College at the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. Rather than focusing on growing a sole enterprise, her career showcases how broadly architectural expertise can reach from policy to philanthropy, academics, fabrication, investment, development, partnership, and design.
