2018 TFG Conference - West


The Timber Framers Guild presents the 2018 TFG Conference - West at the beautiful Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood in Oregon.  We are thrilled to return to Timberline and the West Coast!  The conference committee is hard at work developing a dynamic program.  

The Timber Framers Guild Conference is North America's largest event dedicated to the practice of building historically–inspired new construction using environmentally responsible techniques and large timbers for framing, connected with traditional joinery. Drawing several hundred professionals from a variety of disciplines, the TFG Conference is the only arena where architects, engineers, artisans, contractors, designers, building owners, and preservationists gather to learn about the resources, skills, and knowledge necessary to build timber framed buildings.

 

PRESENTATION PROPOSALS NOW ACCEPTED

We are now accepting presentation proposals for both the 2018 Western and Eastern Conferences. Proposal form is available HERE. The Guild is committed to developing high-quality learning activities in accordance with national criteria for continuing education credits in a variety of professions, including Learning Units through the American Institute of Architects.

COST

Regular member rate: $595.00

Friday – Sunday Includes all conference presentations, tradeshow, meals (Friday breakfast - Sunday Breakfast)

TFG Spouse rate: $495.00

Friday – Sunday Includes all conference presentations, tradeshow, meals (Friday breakfast - Sunday Breakfast)

Regular non-member: $695.00

Friday – Sunday Includes all conference presentations, tradeshow, meals (Friday breakfast - Sunday Breakfast)

Non-member spouse rate: $600.00

Day rates (flat fee, no member rate):

Friday Only: $300

Includes all Friday conference presentations, tradeshow, lunch & dinner

Saturday Only: $300

Includes all Saturday conference presentations, tradeshow, lunch & dinner

Sunday Only: $200

Includes all Sunday conference presentations & breakfast

Hotel Rooms are not included with your registration. 
Please call Timberline Lodge to make your room reservation, be sure to tell them you are with the Timber Framers Guild to receive a discounted rate. 

To connect with other conference attendees for carpooling or room sharing, please check out our notices board. You can post by logging into your account and navigating to your dashboard. 

Event Cancellation Policy: If there are special circumstances, such as an emergency health situation, then we will issue a full refund or apply it toward a future TFG conference or event, whichever is the preferred method. If you need to cancel, and it is more than a month before the event, you'll receive a 75% refund; if it is between two and four weeks, you'll receive 50%; and if it is less than two weeks prior to the summit, no refunds will be issued.
