The Guild is returning to Manchester, NH August 1-4 for the 2019 Guild conference at Southern New Hampshire University(SNHU). The last time the Guild gathered at SNHU in 2014, there were over 300 in attendance and the conference committee is hoping to reach those numbers again in 2019.
The Timber Framers Guild Conference is North America's largest event dedicated to the practice of building historically–inspired new construction using environmentally responsible techniques and large timbers for framing, connected with traditional joinery. Drawing several hundred professionals from a variety of disciplines, the TFG Conference is the only arena where architects, engineers, artisans, contractors, designers, building owners, and preservationists gather to learn about the resources, skills, and knowledge necessary to build timber framed buildings.
We are now accepting presentation proposals for the 2019 Conference. Please send us your ideas and suggestions for topics presenters, demonstrations and hands-on events. The Guild is committed to developing high-quality learning activities in accordance with national criteria for continuing education credits in a variety of professions, including Learning Units through the American Institute of Architects. Event Cancellation Policy: If there are special circumstances such as an emergency health situation then we honor a full refund or apply it toward a future TFG conference or event, which is the preferred method. If it is more than a month before the event 75% refund , 50% between 4 & 2 weeks and no refund within two weeks of the event.
