Apply Now: Blue Deer Center CBP

Join us this fall in Margaretville, New York, for a Community Building Project in support of the Blue Deer Center.

We will gather October 3-10 to build an eight-sided fire pavilion, which is an enlarged version of the pavilion built at the Flowing Lake Community Building Project in 2025. The design of the frame provides opportunities for learning in areas such as square rule layout, compound roof joinery for hips, and jack rafters. There will also be learning components on the efficient raising of a clear span structure.

The Guild seeks one project manager and three instructors, as well as 35 volunteers, for this weeklong project. The deadline for the leadership team is July 4, and the deadline for volunteer applicants is July 10.
