From our colleagues in the U.K. Carpenters Fellowship.
In 2005, an international team of timber framers assembled in the pastoral countryside of middle England to cut and raise a complex office building to house the Northmoor Trust administration.
This was an ambitious project, square-ruled from Doug Fir logs grown and fresh-sawn on Trust property, laid out, and cheerfully cut by a truly international crew, but not without major head-scratching and teachable moments.
This is a very well-made and entertaining DVD of that event, by James Hutchings, produced by N. Guiver and C. Hollebon.
Curious and amusing bonus material.
