Blacksmith Shop Annex

A Dramatic and Spacious Work Area

CBP Blacksmith Shop Annex

A well-cut 50 x 50-ft. frame was built for use as a workshop annex to the blacksmith shop at the John C. Campbell Folk School, in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina, two hours from Asheville. The building features dramatic high ceilings for a spacious work area and passive cooling ventilation.  Iron blacksmithing details are integrated into the frame.
