About

Eastern Highway Specialists (EHS) began operations in January 2003 with the goal of providing quality infrastructure construction services to the mid-Atlantic region. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, EHS works within an area including all of Delaware, northern Maryland, and the 5-County region in southeast Pennsylvania. Clients include DelDOT, PennDOT, MdTA, Delaware River and Bay Authority, Cecil County Maryland, and multiple townships and counties in Pennsylvania. 

EHS has a long history of completing restoration projects on timber covered bridges throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. Past projects include Ashland Covered Bridge, Knox Covered Bridge, Bartram's Covered Bridge, Speakmans Covered Bridge, Rapps Dam Covered Bridge and Smiths Covered Bridge.
