Founded in 1971 by John Libby, we are a full service design/build firm creating beautiful and energy efficient houses and barns in Maine.  From large design and build projects to smaller renovations, each project we build is as unique as our clients. At our roots is an authentic timber framing company with a talented and experienced crew. Much of the timber frame work we do in our Freeport shop is still done by hand using traditional tools. While the methods have changed very little, timber frame design has become extremely versatile, opening the door to many aesthetically intriguing possibilities in modern day architecture. Whether you are interested in a new home, barn, kitchen,commercial project or renovation we have the resources here to create a finished building that complements the natural landscape surrounding you.
