About

Mid-Atlantic Timberframes was born out of our heritage of custom and quality timber frame building with fine wood materials, using centuries-old craftsmanship techniques. First founded as the timber division of our parent company B&D Builders as a way to ensure quality and efficiency when building state-of-the-art equestrian facilities on the East Coast, Mid-Atlantic Timberframes now stands as an independent company.

Grounded in our roots, we still rely on our traditional craft of using mortise and tenon, but in recent years we have added extreme precision and consistency with the purchase of one of the most efficient timber CNC machines on the market called the Essetre Techno PF. After months of extensive CNC training of our staff, we began producing timber frames at a facility in Bird-In-Hand PA. We have since moved to a much larger facility in Paradise PA.

From our Design Manager with more than 20 years experience and a reputation of being among the best in the country, to our Timber Framers, CNC Machine Operator and Shop Manager with extensive carpentry expertise, here at Mid-Atlantic Timberframes we are continually impressed by the passion, quality and dedication of each and every member of our team.
