Kevin Gray

Kevin Gray

Timber frame homes and structures have been Kevin’s passion for nearly 20 years. His love of timber frame construction is rooted in an appreciation of the natural environment and respect for the time-honored craft of creating homes using traditional joinery while blending with new building techniques to create legacy structures that will last for generations to come.

With a portfolio of timber projects across North America, ranging from grand chalets to rustic cabins or lux ranches, Kevin has a depth of experience in collaborating with architectural designers, timber framers, general contractors, structural designers, owners, and others to create memorable dwellings that shelter and inspire.

Over the years, he has learned that the process and approach to the execution of all phases of design and construction is as important as – if not more than - the mere design or construction itself. His mission is to make it simple for the owner and design/construction teams alike to successfully navigate through the project to achieve a successful result for all parties.

Presentation

The Perfect Partnership: Elevating a Project's Success
You already know that designing and building a timber frame building is a complex and totally different animal than conventional construction, but many of our clients are under-prepared for what to expect. As industry professionals, we can get too focused on our individual disciplines and are tempted to rush ahead too quickly, without investing adequate time to coach our clients to educate them on expectations, establish the right team, and define the goals for the success of the project prior to moving forward. The Perfect Partnership model respects the strength of each discipline, and unites to coach the client over the finish line successfully.
