Sarah Highland

Highland Artisan

Sarah Highland is the founder and principal of Highland Artisan, an educational home building and timber framing organization. She is also a boatbuilding instructor at the Carpenter’s Boat Shop (Pemaquid, Maine) and a lead facilitator at Cornell University’s Team and Leadership Center, where she is a scholar of experiential education and facilitation, and mentor for Center staff. Sarah is also a regular instructor at the Heartwood School and Yestermorrow Design-Build School, as well as weekend timber framing events and programs.
