Ben Loveland

I come from a long line of woodworkers, representing the fourth generation of Loveland carpenters. Before eventually finding my career in timber framing, I sampled all aspects of the building trades, and I've had my hands on almost every aspect of home building. But after meeting and working for Stephen Morrison on a job site off the coast of Charleston, I knew that timber framing was where I wanted to concentrate my energies. I have been working with Stephen helping to grow MoreSun Timber Frames from a three-person shop to what it is today. During my 19 years at MoreSun, the Guild has been instrumental in my development as a carpenter and a person. I want to join the Guild’s board to ensure that I can give back at least a small measure of the knowledge and camaraderie I've gained.
