Our full-time 13-week Timber Framer program is ideal for the person interested in working in the timber frame industry and/or wanting to build their own timber frame structure. Under the guidance of master timber framing instructor Joe Gex-Collet, students are provided with practical hands-on experience in a large well-equipped Timber Frame shop supplemented with computer and classroom instruction.

Students gain knowledge of techniques, history, and systems employed in traditional timber framing. Graduates of this course will be well positioned to work with skilled trades' people in the shop and on the job-site.

Students will build one personal project and participate in building a large timber framed structure as a class project.
