About

Bensonwood is a design-engineering-build firm specializing in high performance residential and commercial timber frame construction. For more than 50 years we’ve blended traditional craftsmanship with specialized precision machine tooling. 

We began as a group of dedicated timber framers making the finest timber frame shells and homes. We transformed the durable and honestly crafted New England timber frame tradition by making the building process faster, more efficient, more accessible and sustainable.   

Today, our more than 150 building professionals are focused on a common goal - to fabricate and install timber frames and panelized structures that emphasize structural integrity and visually compelling interiors.  

Our dedicated team enjoys working on projects of every size including residential homes, barns, accessory buildings, multi-family homes, institutional, and commercial buildings.
