Bill Sturm began his career as an architecture student at Georgia Institute of Technology.  He spent a year in Paris studying design and architecture.  After returning to the states and a subsequent 6 months hiking the Appalachain Trail, he decided to get to work building cabinetry.  Life led Bill to Bend, Oregon in 1997 where he began to discover timber framing.  After several years in the field, he  
created Oregon Timberworks.  

Bill's integrity, dedication to detail, ability to listen to clients, and commitment to sustainable building techniques allow him to design and build beautiful timber frame homes.

Workshops
Always wanted to learn how to timber frame?  Spend a weekend learning the details and come away with a project of your very own.  Many of our students have gone on to build their own house or barn.
