About

South County Post & Beam has been providing timber framing services since 1976. Our work includes the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of timber frame structures for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

We work with traditional and contemporary timber frame designs and provide services ranging from design assistance and engineering coordination through fabrication, delivery, and erection. Our team works with homeowners, architects, builders, and contractors to develop timber framing solutions that meet the requirements of each project.

All of our timber frames are fabricated at our workshop in West Kingston, Rhode Island, and we ship and erect structures throughout the United States. Our experience includes more than 1,000 fabricated and installed projects of varying sizes and types.

In addition to timber framing, our capabilities include heavy timber construction, glulam, cross laminated timber (CLT), structural wood decking, and structural insulated panels (SIPs). These capabilities allow us to provide a range of structural timber and enclosure solutions as part of a complete project or as individual components.
