Stowell Timber Frames is a small design/build company located in western North Carolina that specializes in traditionally crafted, heirloom quality timber framed structures. Each timber frame is hand-crafted using mortise and tenon joinery fastened with hardwood pegs, a time-tested tradition. Along with a focus on utilizing low-input, locally sourced building materials, we strive to create meaningful spaces that will endure for generations to come. We recognize that the spaces we occupy and the materials we surround ourselves with deeply impact our lives and our well-being.
