We are a Holistically managed Structural Timber Framing Company with a passion for traditional joinery cut by hand.

Our Mission is to build healthy resilient structures that support happiness of ones life and to facilitate the adoption and implementation of resilient, time proven, building techniques.  We prioritize the use of non-toxic, responsibly sourced, regeneratively produced, minimally processed, carbon sequestering natural building materials throughout our projects. This ensures the harvesting, manufacturing, transportation, on-site fabrication and assembly, lifetime within the built environment, maintenance, and eventual disposal life cycle is a net benefit to the earth! (and fun for the people involved at each of those stages)

We build timber framed structures of all kinds with a focus on traditional joinery

From small structures (Wood Sheds, Green Houses, Kiosks, Gazebos, and Screen Porches)

To large structures (Pavilions, Barns, and Timber Framed Homes)

We specialize in Historic Repairs of Existing Timber framed structures with a special interest and passion for restoring Barns. Following a site assesment we determine if we can repair the structure in situ or if the repairs are extensive, we can disassemble the structure and ship it to our shop repair or replace all necessary framing members and then re-assemble the repaired frame back on-site.

We raise/erect all of our Timber Framed structures as well as ship prefitted structures, with detailed instruction for assembly by contractors who are interested in taking on the Raising of the timber framed package.

We have the ability to construct timber framed homes from foundation to finish, within reach of our NH white mountains and lakes region shop, which focus on indoor air quality, high energy performance and natural building materials, with an emphasis on ventilation, moisture management, vapor open enclosure assemblies and solid wall systems such as straw bale or hempcrete.
