The Cascade Joinery is Hiring - Estimator / Project Manager

Job Purpose: To support the sales team with accurate take-offs and estimates and the production team with project management tasks, including, but not limited to, material ordering, tracking, and documentation for contracted projects.

Top Desired Qualities:

Project Management abilities – skilled in communicating, organizing tasks, and managing schedules.

Drafting capability – Proficient in creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD or Fusion 360.

Construction background – experience in construction, architecture, or heavy timber industries.

Essential Results:

Deliver accurate and timely estimates and take-offs.

Prepare professional proposals that are ready to submit to clients.

Provide a complete project information package for the production team.

Coordinate with internal and external teams and manage project deliverables and milestones.

Proactive problem-solving and process improvements.

Primary Skills and Attributes:

Team player.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

Strong written and verbal language skills.

Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.

Quick learner and ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:

Comprehend project scope from shop drawings, including modifying the drawings as needed.

Use Bluebeam and Excel to create material lists and build estimates.

Communicate with internal and external teams to build and execute a comprehensive project plan.

Define workflow process; identify and present improvement ideas.

Education and Training:

·         Project Management or other degrees and certificates are desirable.

·         Drafting experience or training is desirable.
