This fall, the Timber Framers Guild returns to Vermont for the first time since 2013. Our long weekend in Burlington is jam-packed with seminars and activities unique to the timber framing community.

Speakers include designers, engineers, historians, and other industry luminaries. Jack Sobon, Ben Brungraber, Curtis Milton, Patrick Moore, and other popular experts in their fields will be presenting over the course of the conference, which runs Friday through Sunday, October 14-16, 2022.  (click here for the schedule)

Make sure to join us for one of the pre-conference sessions - whether you attend the Timber Frame Engineering Council Symposium or another event on October 13, you're guaranteed to partake of an experience that will further inspire and engage you as the conference gets underway. 

As always, we are happy to include perennial favorites, including the trade show (and trade show mixer), member slide show, auction, bent busting, axe throwing, and more.  Full conference registration (Friday-Sunday) is $625 for members and includes all conference presentations, tradeshow, and meals (Friday breakfast - Sunday Breakfast).

New England is a popular fall destination as the leaves turn color and put on a show, so book your room now. Our block of rooms at the conference venue have been filled! We have secured additional room blocks at nearby hotels, and recommend booking as soon as possible!

• Burlington Motel 6. The address is Burlington Motel 6, 74 South Park Drive, Colchester, VT 05446. The rate, depending on the night, for one person is $185-197. The rate for two people is $215-227. The Burlington Motel 6 is 3.2 miles from the Doubletree, a 6-minute drive by car, so not far away. To make reservations, please call the Motel 6 Group Reservations number at 1-800-544-4866 and ask for the Timber Framers Guild group rate, which is effective for four nights, October 12-15.

• DoubleTree by Hilton. If you have a room at the conference venue and would like to update your reservation, or if you would like to book at the non-conference rate, click HERE.
• North Beach Campground.  The Guild has the "Group Site" at Burlington's municipal campground on the shore of Lake Champlain for Thursday and Friday nights.  Unfortunately it closes on Saturday, so we have other sites for campers for Saturday night.  Please email Gretchen or stop by at the registration desk for additional details.  

Should you need to cancel your participation, requests received prior to September 16 receive a 75% refund. Cancellations received from September 16  to September 30 receive a 50% refund, and there is no refund for those who cancel after September 30.
